Senior Medical Editor / Content Lead

Location: Camden- London

 Job Description

At AS&K, we believe that understanding the target audience is the key to reaching hearts and minds. Our deep knowledge of the healthcare industry supports our ability to deliver innovative solutions that bridge relationships, build brands, and grow sustainable business.

With teams in London and the US, AS&K is an agency with global vision. Seeing the bigger picture allows us to implement relevant strategies that leverage local knowledge and support our clients’ objectives.

We are currently looking for an outstanding Senior Medical Editor/Content Lead to join our thriving team. This is a key role within the content team, helping us grow to support our expanding business.

This position would suit a scientific/medical editor, or writer with strong editorial skills, who has experience working within a medical communications, medical education or healthcare advertising agency and would like to step up into a more senior role. This is also an attractive position for those already in a senior editorial role who may wish to move to an agency where they are encouraged to make the role their own and are given the chance to shape and influence communications projects.

Our senior medical editors enjoy a high degree of autonomy in their work, and with this responsibility comes opportunities to interact with colleagues in accounts, creative and digital teams, as well as direct contact with clients and key opinion leaders. Importantly, the Senior Medical Editor/Content Lead will act as content team lead for complex projects where their subject matter knowledge and experience in the sector will add real value to our clients.

AS&K has a strong commitment to developing staff, and so candidates should have the confidence that we will work alongside them to realise their professional aspirations.
